Guidelines Regarding START myDisclosures and UIC Research COI

System office employees who are located on the UIC campus but do not have a UIC appointment will complete the START myDisclosures RNUA process as in previous years. System office employees who also have a UIC appointment, regardless of percentage, will need to complete both an RNUA in START myDisclosures as well as a Disclosure Profile in UIC Research COI (the new UIC reporting system). System office employees who are investigators on a sponsored program at UIC will be required to complete an RNUA in START myDisclosures and will also need to complete a Disclosure Profile in UIC Research COI when prompted. Training

UIC Research COI Training

Springfield

Training for Disclosers (all Academic Staff):

This training will cover accessing the system, entering activities, editing activities, monitoring review status of the disclosure, responding to reviewer feedback, and viewing past disclosures. It will also cover training for UEOs related to accessing unit disclosures, reviewing options, and retention of disclosures.
